Email Marketing Law in Canada has changed ... are you ready?

The NEW Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) comes into effect on July 1st. If your business sends emails or texts from Canada or to Canada, CASL impacts you. 
 
This free 30-minute webinar hosted by Tracey Hart, Director of Marketing for Discover Boating Canada and presented by Lonnie Brodkin-Schneider of Miller Thomson LLP, a national Canadian law firm, covered the basic CASL requirements and how to ensure your marketing efforts are compliant. Learn best practices for your business, from gathering emails to sending marketing newsletters and more.  Brodkin-Schneider has considerable expertise in intellectual property and trade-mark law, including marketing, advertising, packaging and labeling and French language law.  She has key practice expertise in Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and is on the Miller Thomson, LLP national CASL advisory team.
 
All businesses sending commercial emails or texts from Canada or to Canadians must comply with the new legislation.
